It seems like forever (well, 6 days, but who’s counting) since I ventured into the blogosphere and let you all know what was going on at The 4th Wall these days.

There are two big things of note that I wanted to, uh, note:

First up, this Wednesday (May 19th) is Avengers Day @ The 4th Wall! Yep, it’s the release of Marvel’s brand-new Avengers #1 by superstars Brian Michael Bendis and John Romita Jr! To celebrate, Marvel’s giving us a whole bunch of stuff to make it a day to remember! There will be exclusive variants, prints, and good ol’ fashioned fun a frivolity all day at The 4th, so come on by. Not only will we have Avengers #1, but also all Avengers books will be on sale for US Cover Price! This is a perfect time for new readers to jump on, so tell your friends!!

Next up, I mentioned our awesome $1 comics a few weeks back, and the response has been great! These books are a perfect way for you to check out the first chapter of some of the best graphic novels that are out there, (such as Chew, Batman & Robin, Civil War, and many more) for only a dollar! Plus, because we love you all so much, if you bring back that book you bought for one dollar, we’ll give you TWO dollars off when you pick up the paperback or hardcover of that same book! As long as the returned book is in re-sellable condition, it’s like we’ve paid you to read it! Huzzah!
